The NS‐8FE Fast Ethernet Switch is designed for SOHO (Small Office Home Office) or work group users. Connect the NS‐8FE to multiple computers together to share files and folders, or connect it to a router to share an Internet connection. All 8 ports support auto MDI/MDIX, no need to worry about the cable type, simply plug and play. • Port Based Isolation : Data of the Uplink Port can be transferred to any of the Downlink ports but the Individual Downlink ports do not communicate with each other. Port Isolation Can be Enabled / Disabled using a simple DIP Button which is a unique feature of this switch.

• Green Ethernet : 802.3 Energy‐Efficient Ethernet (EEE) allows for less power consumption during periods of low data activity. It reduces power to a port when no link is detected. It also adjusts the power to a port by detecting the length of the connected Ethernet cable.
